Jo has 30 years experience of health services management at all levels.
She was an NHS Trust Chief Executive for 8 years and has vast experience of health services having worked across primary, community and acute care sectors at strategic and operational levels.
She has worked at Chief Officer level in various posts since 1979 and Board Director since 1990.
Recent consulting assignments include:
- The development of policy for patient choice in treatment regimes
- The development of an Education & Training strategy for a complementary therapy organisation prior to the introduction of regulation
- The project management of a team evaluating a new national quality assurance system for healthcare professional education
- Project managing the development of a strategy for interprofessional learning for nursing and medical staff in Higher Education institutions in an ancient university town
- Facilitation for primary health care awayday
- Advising a Higher Education College preparing for quality assurance major review
Jo is also acting Chairman of the LSC in Suffolk and is an FE College Governor.
In her spare time she is a keen cook and roadie-in-chief to her son's up and coming band.
