Each member can also add consulting expertise, an active role in their community and a vision for the improvement of local government.

We have representatives in the Eastern, South Eastern, North West Regions and Northern Ireland.

Robin Millar

For 15 years, Robin has delivered high-profile projects on time and within budget for international Public Sector and ‘blue-chip’ Clients in both construction and management.

His conviction about the Members' role in leading and shaping their communities led him to set up Millar Consulting.

Susan Williams

Susan is the current Leader of a Metropolitan Borough Council and a member of Lord Heseltine's Cities Task Force. 

She brings a wealth of knowledge on community and Council Leadership matters and local government policy development. Her own story is one of managing political transition and transformation at a Group, Council and community level.

Kevan Lim

Kevan has over 15 years senior Member-side experience of Metropolitan and County Councils as portfolio holder and Member Champion.

He was Vice-Chairman of Manchester Airport PLC and recently held the Economic and Social Regeneration portfolio in the fastest growing region in the UK.

Richard Abbott, LLB

Richard's work has shaped Local Government's response 'on the ground' to many of the recent major legislative changes in Local Government. His current focus is on partnerships and PFIs.

His origins in commercial practice included a major international pharmaceutical but an interest in ethics, policy and governance led him into local government. He has spent several years working alongside senior management teams in local authorities on issues like FoI, DPA and privacy.

Nigel Mansley, BSc FCA

Nigel has vast experience of finance and financial governance up to PLC Board level.

Nigel has transformed performance in his PCT, handled successful corporate restructuring, run his own businesses, developed policy and consulted and worked at senior levels. He has worked internationally with significant and diverse clients.

Johanna Finn

Jo has 30 years experience of health services management at all levels. 

As Chief Executive of a London NHS Trust for 8 years, Jo was responsible for up to 5,000 staff. Involved recently in progressive policy development, Jo has vast experience of health services across primary, community and acute care sectors at strategic and operational levels.

Helen Senior

Helen is a London Borough Councillor and a Chartered Accountant.

She joins us to manage large internal and Client projects. Before joining us, Helen worked for 10 years as a project manager and business analyst with a leading investment management partnership in Edinburgh.
