Robin Millar

For 15 years, Robin has delivered high-profile projects on time and within budget for international Public Sector and ‘blue-chip’ Clients in both construction and management.

A graduate in structural and civil engineering, living and working in Moscow, the USA and Europe exposed him to business drivers and organisational dynamics. In the 90's he left engineering to grow a start-up business in Europe.

The transition to management consulting was completed in 2000, delivering complex strategic change programs in the not-for-profit sector, before starting a practice devoted to making the best management expertise from the private sector available to Local Government in 2004.

Robin was the Mayor of Newmarket (2003/4) and has held responsibilities for economic development, forward planning and scrutiny at Forest Heath District Council since 2003. He has led political communications, strategy and policy development within the authority since 2005.

Robin is a governor of a successful FE College, a trustee of Relate and in his spare time enjoys playing football and real tennis. He has run the New York ('97) and London ('04) marathons.

He is also a devotee of "Grand Designs" and is renovating a small holding in the Welsh mountains.
