These are our values.

They have not been chosen to present an image - they simply describe our lives.
Down the years they have influenced our work and relationships - you will find them woven through what we say, and what we will do for you.
Service
"Those amongst you who are truly happy are those who have sought and found how to serve"
Local Government was a choice and vocation for you - and it is a choice for us.
Stewardship
“Respice finem" - With the end in sight
The motto of Newmarket speaks of the single minded focus of a horse and its rider; winning the race.
While service is a motive, stewardship takes responsibility for the outcome. A steward simply, is "one who manages or supervises another's property, finances, or other affairs".
In personal and professional spheres, we seek to encourage this quality in those we train, manage and work alongside. This goes beyond incentives. Foster stewardship in the workplace culture and productivity will soar.
Simplicity
Not all simple ideas are good ones - but most good ideas are simple.
Simplicity brings clarity, trust and ultimately, understanding.
