"Respice finem"
We are based in Newmarket, the world famous "Home of Horseracing" and international Headquarters to the Sport of Kings.
The Town's latin motto, respice finem means "with the end in sight". All our work keeps one end in sight: results.
We deliver results that create value at three levels:
-
Community
-
Corporate
- Personal
Transforming Performance
The success of local government, in common with other organisations, depends less on complex models and sophisticated techniques than an ability to focus on "what really works".
Over a 10 year period, researchers tracked the performance of 160 organisations and the 200 management tools they employed to drive themselves forward. Our team members know this path well.
The conclusions can be found in the Harvard Business Review and they make interesting reading.
- Most management methods and techniqiues draw on common elements but are best described as fads, with no lasting impact on performance
- The key areas for the attention of the organisation are simple: strategy, structure, culture and execution
- Secondary areas include: innovation, leadership, partnerships and talent
- Successful organisations are those which manage to balance and juggle the conflicting demands of these areas over the long course
Contact us and we will arrange a meeting to discuss what really works in your authority.
